This site is dedicated to a young man I met only once. After a night at the movies with a mutual friend I drove Joey home and before dropping him off, we had an amazing conversation. He shared what it was like to have recently come out to his Chinese parents and family, his decision to move into his own place, and his deep desire to find and have a boyfriend – at the same time dealing with his cancer that was in remission. I was inspired by his determination, and moved by his anguish and loneliness. With the exception of his cancer, I saw so much of myself in him at a certain point in my life. I could not offer much besides hearing him share. This site is for Joey and all the other Joey’s out there – Edward
